Two interesting books about Unix might be interesting - one was written by Peter Salus almost 30 years ago and the other one was written in 2019 by Brian Kernighan for Unix' 50th anniversary:

Salus, Peter H. (1994). A Quarter Century of UNIX. Addison Wesley. ISBN 978-0-201-54777-1.

Kernighan, Brian W. (2019). UNIX: A History and a Memoir. Independently published. ISBN 978-1695978553.

Doesn't have to be books -- just looking for any content that analyzes the history of computers and has a point of view about where the future of technology is headed
