Hi! I’m Wesley/xwes/wesley@alteredlabs.ai. Together with a fellow Xoogler, we’ve been working on our AI stack and this app for the past year. It’s great to finally ship this thing and show it to people!
Record a short selfie video and see each frame in a different time and place. Each frame is processed by AI, and you’re recognizably you (not a long lost cousin) in every frame.
We really like the result. Look at the way
* light in the environment interacts with the face, neck, and shoulders
* collars cast shadows on necks
* light scatters through backlit hair
* there’s no “seam”

We built Altersnap as a way to show off our stack. We have multiple prototypes running on it, but Altersnap was the one we decided to productionize.
