Ask HN: Big group insurance for small startup?
I have a small startup (< 10) in California. I’m looking to get high quality health insurance but most of the plans I’ve found are for small groups and the coverage isn’t great and premiums are much higher.
What are some some alternative options for better health insurance without exorbitant costs? I know some payroll companies offered something similar, but I don’t need the whole suite of payroll services yet.
Some groups like IEEE used to do group insurance years ago but that seems to no longer be the case.
Any recommendations are appreciated.
