Lake City Ammo Plant Cancels All Commercial Contracts
stapledefense.comI got to go on a tour of the Lake City Ammo Plant as a Boy Scout! We got to see a mini gun get tested. They said sometimes a deer would run out while they were testing and it went about how you’d expect. Not much deer left. It was pretty cool as a teenager. One of the scout leaders worked there or something.
I was excited about this and seeing a place I know, then realized what the implications of this article are. Oh goodness. A lot of bullets are headed somewhere else.
Weren't there safety issues at one of the very few remaining black powder plants that caused it to shut down?
If the inputs are constrained, that may be constraining the outputs.
I wonder if they paid to cancel or if there is a free exit clause in the contracts.
