I'm getting kind of tired of this constant use of the term "enshittification." Sometimes the writer is describing the things that tend to follow the sale of a business to private equity; sometimes, as here, it's the deteriorating quality of service that comes from a monopoly; and sometimes it's a different set of complaints entirely. It's too loose.
