DLL Hell

Seems like every platform except Linux has this mostly solved. But here I am, seeing a disk IO error, and backing up with a new app(deja dup), because back in time(which I was using before) broke itself at some point recently.

I'm convinced shared DLL-like objects should not ideally not exist, except as OS provided things, and plugins that only depend on OS provided things. If you need more, you're either wheel reinventing unnecessary stuff, or the OS is missing something.

I think that I might be going to switch to Vanilla Ubuntu rather shortly and go all in on snaps!
