I actually think this helps with two issues 1) news outlets complaining about traffic dropping because of social media 2) helps reduce headline attention economy (hopefully).

Assuming this relies on Twitter returning headline data with API responses. In which case, it can/will be killed at any time.

    This extension, like most of them, does not use any API. It just looks for tweets with URLs and then re-injects the (now hidden) aria-label attribute of the t.co href back into the tweet.
