Show HN: A free canvas app for code – macOS and iPad
apps.apple.comModern software development tooling focuses on writing code. GooseCode is designed for visualizing code, understanding relationships and keeping documentation alongside real code.
Think Figma / Miro for software developers.
I build GooseCode because I constantly lose my flow while tabbing back and forward through the IDE, with a pen and paper to keep track on my desk.
GooseCode currently focus on reading and visualizing code, with IDE integration and writing on the horizon. Looks cool, not being able to see a feature list comparing free, pro and ultimate (at least I can't find it) is an issue, so I haven't installed it. Hi, the app is completely free. The pricing model is from the old iPad app, but cannot be removed from the app store listing (Apple doesn't allow it). If a pricing plan is introduced later it will be for future features (which might cost a bit to run the infrastructure). All current features will remain free. On further investigation, though they can't be deleted, they can be removed from sale. Thanks for drawing my attention to this. Excellent, thank you :)
