Ask HN: How does AI help you with web development?

I don’t use AI myself. It will help me indirectly because I specialize in fixing and maintaining legacy code. With AI, developers can produce bad code faster, creating future opportunities for people like me.

I have already worked on code written with the help of AI tools. I can’t say the code looks worse than what I usually see. Developers have been copy-pasting from Stack Overflow for years, now they have a more efficient set of tools to write code they don’t understand and can’t maintain.
