LinkedIn has gotten weird
businessinsider.com> “LinkedIn is becoming a site where regular people actually want to hang out and post their thoughts. It might even be cool.”
It’s definitely not even cool.
Not only is it weird, it's ever more like FB with spam and masses of ads and random recruiters reaching out who obviously haven't bothered to read your most basic profile information.
I hardly ever use LinkedIn due to the aggravation factor.
I deleted my LinkedIn account years ago because it had become like this. Has it become even worse now?
Discussions of social media and ill side/primary effects have become the same to me as discussions about things that are natural conclusions of capitalism. Like yeah, given what it purports to be for, it's basic mechanics, and an ounce of human nature, can anyone be surprised it trends the way it does? The truly miserable part is that it's all only successful because enough other people lop it up. But the average person is a gullible guppy. Watching people on YouTube just slam likes on obvious GPT comments that are long-winded trite bs or common sense really makes that clear.
I always assumed it was a closed bot system.
