Lucid Software layoffs – A message to Lucid employees

Probably one of the better layoff notices I've read in recent times.

But the problem is I keep reading these layoff notices! Why on earth are these companies providing internal information to the public?

Yes, a financial disclosure might say "we laid off 7% of the workforce on 09/25/2023". That's fine. But I, as a member of the public, why am I reading about their severance package? Who to contact in the company? When they'll receive the layoff notice, and so forth?

Tech companies... not everything has to be public.
