Show HN: I made a Twitter account which shows news in chronological order
twitter.comA while ago, I built a site to display news sources (articles, YouTube, tweets) chronologically. I felt social media, as a news source, often provides a skewed view of reality. Scattered feeds and out-of-order articles confuse our perspective.
Despite my efforts, the website didn’t gain traction.
Now, I've pivoted to a similar idea with [x.com](https://www.x.com). Check out [@x_hindsite on Twitter](https://twitter.com/x_hindsite). Each top-level tweet represents a news event, with replies giving sources in order.
I'm considering splitting it into multiple accounts due to the vastness of topics.
I'd love to hear your feedback on this approach and any reflections you might have. i would love to see the thing but twitter disallows viewing accounts unless you are logged in. I was a twitter user 7-8 years ago so its not for me. quick question, if you are doing this for your own learning purpose, why not go to mastodon/pleroma were you wont have the service actively fighting you Tbh mastodon and pleroma hadn't even ocurred to me for this project. Plus, I know more about the twitter API than I do mastodon / pleroma so it seemed a natural fit. On your last point, you're spot on. I've already had the account banned and reinstated for spamming. Even though I was posting to my own account only...
