This is like all the ridiculous "people experiencing homelessness", or renaming monkeypox, type stuff, instead of actually contributing to solving a problem, people decide to carve out their own petty little schtick about definitions. Orwell has written on this I believe.
A mashup of two things: dislike of the term and sunlight on the policy. I think they are distinct matters but it's good to talk about both of them.
In a society that believes in free speech, is it not our free speech right to ignore someone? Free speech does not mean you have to be listened to, or that someone has to host your content
