Ask HN: What tech newsletters are you currently subscribing to? (August 2023)
I asked the same question back in July, and then I thought let's make it a monthly thing from now on.
Mine currently are:
https://www.pragmaticengineer.com/
https://bigtechdigest.substack.com/
https://leaddev.com/
https://www.ben-evans.com/ (thanks for recommendation tiffanyh)
https://hackernewsletter.com/ Zero. If it's important I'll run into it on Reddit or HN or hackaday, at my leisure, or while researching a project. Tech news is like, hardware I can't afford or have no use for or both, a new programming language that is not gonna replace JS or Python, a CVE that would have been in the regular news, A depressing AI invention, a cool AI thing that's still not really urgent news, 45 tiny personal projects when really I don't need to read That many... I'm not convinced reading tech news is a good use of my time and I should probably do less. These are the newsletters I am currently subscribing to. * Pragmatic Engineer https://www.pragmaticengineer.com/ * ByteByteGo https://bytebytego.com/ * Quastor https://www.quastor.org/ * Pointer https://www.pointer.io/ * Programming Digest https://programmingdigest.net/ Hacker Newsletter (Daily, it's filling up my inbox, and considering unsubscribing and moving over to the weekly roundup version) and Morning Brew (found out from a sponsored segment in a YouTube video). Interested in finding some more tech newsletters, though. Is this yours account as well? https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36292957
