Ask HN: What tools do you use for recording conceptual/architectural vision?
I’ve been working on a project at a remote-first company where we have had a hard time communicating the vision to company leadership. This might just be due to the fact that we are kidding ourselves and don’t have much vision. But, I also think it might be because we aren’t very good at communicating about high-level ideas asynchronously.
I have found myself wanting to record a walk through, Kahn Academy style, as if I were standing at a whiteboard with the person watching and going through the concept as a story. I know I could use PowerPoint, but it just feels too dead. I could also spring for a Wacom tablet, but I wanted to get some input first.
What tools or techniques do you use for communicating like this?
