Ask HN: Have you successfully made any AI agent do useful work for you?
Since BabyAGI and AutoGPT, there have been countless forks and web products built based on them. Have you had any luck making these agents do any meaningful work for you? What was your use case?
So far every time I've tried them, most likely outcome is that the agent keeps spinning wheels and never completes the task. For what is worth, I tried several times, I just wasted money, the results were completely useless. Did you try it for eng work? The demo from AutoGPT makes it seem limited. I would love to see what cool things people made work but it's too costly for most to pay for the OpenAI api calls.
