Ask HN: Finding complimentary technical people
Any suggestions on how to find a technical person for a project?
I'm working with a couple people but we need someone with React skills to compliment the group.
It's a niche product in a profitable industry where we have contacts who will give feedback. We'd all get paid if we can sell the product.
I've spread the word through friends and coworkers. Any other ideas? How I've met people throughout the ages is through forums, IRC, various chat messengers. Contact people who might seem interested or ask the admins of those places if you can place an advertisement. That's something I hadn't thought of. Thanks
