The meeting in question may have been with their therapist, based on the context.
Good luck with pushing that narrative. In my entire career, no company has been able to do that. My last company had 30 hours of meetings per week.

You “It seems like you’re away. Can you ping me someone else that can do this real quick”

User “hey. Sorry. Thanks, we actually figured it out and we didn’t need to rerun, it turns out.”
@wredue, the trick is to dictate the direction of communications and mute after work comms. Also, if they make a real effort to reach out to you, make sure you are absolutely unavailable 90% of that time. "Hi uh, can you help us fix X problem", "unfortunately, I'm an hour away from home and don't have my laptop. I will be back around 10:00pm, if you still need help please reach out."
From the title I assumed it was a home for all the valid and interesting questions killed by the admins of stackoverflow.

No thanks. This is a uniquely neoliberalist perspective on the collective human experience. The sentiment is toxic because much of the circumstance of ones life in the 21st century is not under their control at all.
