My baseline was low before and I didn't check it often, so it probably doesn't mean much, but the feed reader apps which report the number of subscribers in the user-agent string have increased by I'd estimate a factor of 5-10.

I haven't imported the whole OPML file myself, but I've added about two dozen new feeds to my reader through the thread as well.

The effect on me was much less dramatic. I went from about 20k hits in a week before to almost 30k in the week starting on the 6th. But I don't have good enough graphs and metrics to quantify how much of this is random variance and how much is actually a surge.

I have hit the front page once before so my blog is probably "moderately popular" as far as personal blogs go.

I was curious if the various projects that used data from the HN 'personal blogs' thread had a noticeable effect on my website. I looked through my nginx logs and saw that it's now getting a tonne of requests to the RSS feed (atm about 1.5k req/day compared to... 0/day prior)
