Searching code in GitHub now requires to be logged in?
Am I the only one finding this very frustrating? When did that change happen? How did it go under the radar? Now even OSS is gated behind credentials.

Yeah, I noticed that. You're allowed only so much time and then it cuts you off. I don't see the justification for that since searching can't be too hard on bandwidth. Could be an attempt to lock us in or maybe they're profiling us.
