Ask HN: Strie Alternative Currency Issue
Need help!! So, we use Stripe for collection payments and then pay those out to our Wise account. A few days ago Stripe out of nowhere added a rule that we cannot initiate a payout unless we have at least $250 in our stripe account. Any idea how can we overcome this and payout less than $250? To make things more clear, our business is registered in the U.K., the wise bank account is US based but we collect payments in USD. Can you open a Wise USD account? In Wise you can have multiple accounts, multiple virtual credit cards etc. https://stripe.com/docs/payouts/alternative-currencies Seems to only apply when Stripe has to do the USD->GBP currency conversation. You'd move that to Wise.
