Ask HN: AWS Networking Issues Today?
We're running in us-west-2 and have been noticing a really high rate of connection timeouts to RDS, ElastiCache, S3, Lambda, SES, and even some DNS resolution failures. The AWS service metrics seem fine, e.g. no high CPU or connection counts reported on the RDS side of things. We haven't deployed any application changes or infrastructure changes since Friday, and it's affecting all of our kubernetes deployments and all nodes, so it feels like an AWS networking issue. Anyone been hitting the same issue?
