Ask HN: HN for the outdoors?
I visit HN more than any other website. I like the format, even though some posts are over my head. I often find myself looking for something similar in the outdoor space. Perhaps covering topics like long road trips, endurance activities, and the like. Has anyone here spotted something of the sort? These have been helpful for me: https://www.reddit.com/r/hiking Thanks! I follow a few of these sorts of subreddits and do find them useful. It feels like less of a community than HN, though. I also like the text-only approach on HN. It just seems easier for my pea-brain to a linear list of items without the thumbnails and such.
