OnlyFans and Payment Processing
Credit card companies do not allow processing for adult porn content
Then how is the biggest porn site in the world able to process credit cards with ease for millions of sex workers? The CEO of OnlyFans wants you to know her $1-billion-a-year business isn’t just about sex anymore https://fortune.com/longform/onlyfans-ceo-amrapali-gan-adult... Funny!
Right around the time when there was porn backlash, the owner of onlyfans hired a female of color as their CEO to change the narrative around their business Around the same time their PR machine started pushing articles on how onlyfans income was helping women raise their families. And how it had been a blessing in their lives. what they dislike is when restricted content gets in, thats why pornhub and onlyfans have kyc verifications now try opening an adult website with fully legal content and see if you get approved for payment processing. I do not think you understand how this works. they started off with stripe, and had/has all content behind paywall. no tour, no preview, no nothing, like traditional porn sites. they kept it a secret from stripe while they grew, and thanks to using stripe, a mainstream biller, no one could compete with them. (as in paying out 80% to creators and still cover processing and costs) stripe charges what, 4% or less? while adult billers are from 10% and up.
now they own the market, and i guess stripe turns a blind eye, because money. are they still using Stripe? I do not think so. It's because credit card companies do process payments for porn and always will. You are misreading misinformation on the web. Oh yea? Which one? Not a single mainstream processor allows adult content. Misreading misinformation? LOL
Double negatives are hard. LOL Stop talking out of your ass and offer proof where CC processing for porn is allowed by a regular mainstream processor and regular rates. stripe and onlyfans stripe does not allow adult content. here is from their website Adult Content
Adult content is legal where I am selling it, why can’t I use Stripe? We understand that your business may be legal, but for now, due to various reasons including requirements that apply to Stripe as a payment processor, requirements from our financial partners, and the potential risk exposure to Stripe, we're currently not able to work with businesses that sell or offer adult content or services. Stop saying things only for the sake of saying things. Onlyfans is not a payment processor
