I don't get it, why does he want it to say "titter"?

I usually avoid this kind of stuff, but Elon Musk's Twitter has become a pretty good reality TV show.

Here is what happened from an Elon Musk tweet in the article:

> Our landlord at SF HQ says we’re legally required to keep sign as Twitter & cannot remove “w”, so we painted it background color. Problem solved!

Landlord probably wants the sign to stay there to drive business or for vanity reasons. Elon probably wants to or has vacated the office and wanted to take down the sign.

Nothing burger. Who cares
