The thing Terry Davis was right about was his analogy on what an OS is to the user. Whichever one you daily drive is how you live life:

     Linux
     Semi truck
     This will never be a consumer product because it was never designed to be. You're deluded if you think it is.

     Windows
     Car
     Has user safety (he calls it airbags), great for daily users.

     TempleOS
     Motorcycle
     Small footprint. No safety. If you lean on it wrong, you crash, so don't do that. Great fun as a hobby OS but can still get tasks done for you.
