Pepsi Has a New Logo

Well... it's better than their last one. That last one always felt awkward to me. I can't really explain why. It's more than just the asymmetry. Something about the white patch felt like it was wrong.

I like going back to the previous wave-like shape. I don't especially love the new typeface; something about the angle on the I and P feels like it's drawing attention. But that's probably just unfamiliarity and I'll have to see how that feels after a while.
