Now That the Twitter API Will Be Extortion-Level Expensive

Twitter is in business to make money. If that wasn't really clear before Elon, it is now. So they're going to monetize it as best they can.

There are a quite a few people who might point out that since Elon's very rich, he's obviously better at business than any of us, therefore just go away. I don't subscribe to that. But better for you isn't necessarily better for Twitter if they don't see more money for it.
