Again, I will point out that generative models aren't necessarily only usable on corporate megaclouds... they can leak, they can be trained and run by individuals on cheap hardware, and that effort can be P2P networked.

That wont stop us from getting fired, but it will make the generative products harder to sell back to us.

Whats more, I think the hardware makers are "neutral" on this issue, as they like selling to consumers in bulk as much as they like selling to clouds at a huge markup.
