Apple needs to just let the iPhone SE die

Call it the new iPhone XY but stay true to the small size and original button placements. Fine, remove the physical button but provide the original functionality when pressing there. With scales of economy the product's year over year price should go down not up to feed the fat cats, rats, barnacles, IT bureaucrats, World Woke Pride Movement.

I got a 2020 SE and it's been entirely adequate to my needs. It was partly because of features it had, but also features it didn't have, like face recognition, which I didn't want. I fully expect it will continue to be adequate until software updates render it untenable.

Wouldn't be amazing if the SE 4 had the same design as the iPhone 4, but with modern components, and maybe an edge-to-edge oled?
