Ask HN: Tailscale vs. Twingate?
I was considering Tailscale, but their lack of DNS based routing is a huge turn off. I'm curious to hear from folks who have used Twingate or Tailscale at work which they like better and why? For work, Twingate hands-down - the DNS routing as you mentioned is a huge plus in fragmented networks like the ones I frequently work in. Admins seem to like its UI and ability to set policies that are effective without upsetting users like me. why not something other than twingate or tailscale? I'm wide open to any recommendation you have. These are just the two products that seem to come up most when I ask people for recommendations. whats the use case? how many users?
