Building and learning how to type on a 35-key mechanical keyboard
youtube.comhi hn,
i've been using 40% mechanical keyboards for years now and didn't think i'd be able to go smaller than that especially with the lack of modifiers. figured that using a qaz-like layout would do the trick as i explore into smaller keyboards and how to type with it.
was introduced to using combos and tap-dances on my keymaps and it was definitely a joy discovering how comfortable i was using them after a few days. now, i'm even more disoriented than usual when I get to use a "normal" laptop keyboard. haha.
would love to know how your keymaps look like if you use anything below 40% for your keyboards and have you been enjoying sub-40% way more? still trying to learn some really good combos that just make sense!
Can people actually read those captions? too fast for my eyes
