Ask HN: Support group for developers who have been laid off/are unemployed?
Is there such a group? Like a discord or something. A place to vent, to support each other, to be among people who understand what it is to go through this process. In the past months, I've kicked around the idea of starting a group along the lines of "Veterans of Technology for Ethics" with the mission of letting people who had work experience at technology companies meet and discuss topics amongst themselves. People who were laid off would be welcome in such an organization. (Whether to vent, to help each other, to gain better understanding, etc.) This does not exist that I know of, but is there a latent need?
