Tell HN: My Show HN didn't get posted via HN webapp but unofficial client
Hi, just sharing an observation I had recently, not sure if it's an anomaly with my post or a more common pattern.
Recently I had posted a Show HN link via news.ycombinator.com webapp but that post died in a couple of hours and I wasn't able to put a comment on that either like I have seen in other Show HNs. Nor were other HN accounts able to see it
However, when I posted the same link again via an unofficial native app on Android, I was able to put a comment also, as well as other HN accounts could view the post. Just curious if anyone else faced something similar? I was not aware HN had a phone app. Was this app created by HN? No but there are some unofficial Android client apps.
