Ask HN: Is one C Corp enough for multiple micro startups?
I was wondering if one 'C Corp' registered company(via Stripe Atlas) could suffice for multiple unrelated web based software products and services. I might add employees to each of them in future as well. Primary reason for company registration is to facilitate Strip account for payment etc. yes probably 1 parent corp, its an incubator which has employees those employees work on products and service offerings company can then spin off individual product/service if one takes off Good idea For instance Meta is a C corp, and Instagram is an LLC one just use LLCs, much easier, one per startup. need almost no paperwork. It seems that VCs dislike LLCs An LLC can be converted to a C Corp prior to taking investment.
