Looking for suggestions as to how to organize articles, tag them and search. A lot of the suggestions here are selfhosted. Mine are not. The simplest is to use your browser Bookmarks/Reading List [1] feature. which can save in MHTML format (one file, a zip archive container). Another alternative is the paid level of pinboard.in, which essentially makes an archive copy of every page you bookmark and tag. (And for all I know, there may be self-hosted versions of pinboard.in with the archive feature.) You can try hamsterbase, provides selfhosted versions for winddows and linux. Will look into hosting it again :) I use Safari's built-in "Read Later" action. If I want to save a page forever, I bookmark it. If the title isn't descriptive I change the title or add keywords. To find a bookmark I search my bookmarks. I don't organize bookmarks into folders because it's unnecessary. I post them on my blog and use labels.
