Is Capital One verification process normal?
I recently had my Capital One credit card restricted and for verification they asked for my social security card, a state or federal ID, and a utility bill or bank statement with my account number visible.
They said it’s required to see the account number for the bank statement to verify. Why would they need the account number of my bank account? Is this normal? Has anyone done this before?
