Trump, Musk and Kanye Are Twitter Poisoned
nytimes.comThis sounds too much like "my political enemies are mentally ill".
I mean yeah people are influenced negatively by social media, but those three guys in the title already had similar personalities a long time ago, and are probably not so online like the average person, because they have to run their empires.
Re-reading the piece, I have no idea what you mean. Of course they're on line. You can see it in their engagement with social media. The piece isn't about the quantity, how many hours a day. But a half hour a day would be enough. Glancing at feeds on the phone 10x a day for 2-3 minutes is plenty for the neurological effects to occur. Sitting on the toilet for 3 minutes 2x per day gives 6 easy minutes right there.
I believe the main point to be the common thread of increasingly infantile behavior in all of society that appears to be amplified by Twitter’s “engagement” circus.
While Twitter would have him, Trump would spend hours tweeting (and watching TV), when he wasn't playing golf. Musk and Kanye, probably less.
People fall for fakes on twitter all the time. I believe it has something to do with biases and tendency of these platforms to create echo chambers.
