Police use DNA to create picture of murder suspects face

Is there a link or more info on some comparisons of this technique on identified people? Like, take the dna of someone alive and present. Generate their face using only the dna. How similar does it look to the person? I'd love to see lots of comparisons like this before I trust the technique.
