There's a lot of detail going into the explanation here, which I feel is aiming at perfectionists, who will already be doing something along similar lines, so it serves as affirmation.

In order to aim at general developers who would normally be guilty of commits like "PR comments" and "fix", you want a very concise soundbite that's easy to remember.

I normally say this in my head "If applied, this commit will:" and then write the commit message. Not perfect, but doesn't have to be.
