A Minsky moment is a sudden, major collapse of asset values which marks the end of the growth phase of a cycle in credit markets or business activity.

      If someone knew the answer, they would be currently shorting the affected commodities/securities and deciding on whether they would want to purchase a penthouse unit in a 50 story building or in a 100-story building (instead of posting about it on HN). Alas, no one can answer for sure.
