Basically they were Denial of Service, because the objective was to send endless pages of black pages through fax so you would either use up their ink, or burn out their thermopaper heating thing, depending on their fax technology at the time.
Doesn't work or even matter today. But it was an expensive attack in the 90's.
A lot of effort to make a funny pointed joke or maybe not? Am i part of some A/B testing here.
Lets just not forgt that a company worth 43 BILLION didn't have a dev environment. .... They just yeeted code onto prod
