You think Apple would approach this with a little bit of acceptance/humility given all the greenwashing marketing BS they spew. This change is a good thing for them, the environment, manufacturers, and consumers.

And not to mention, the legacy lightning jack has been stuck on Y2K-era speeds (480mbs) since it's inception. This dumb connector should have been binned by any "innovator" 7 years ago.
