Just a few years after Covid started - very possibly related.

This trend started long before COVID-19 emerged so I'm puzzled as to why you would suggestion a connection.

Because sudden sharp rise in cancers is one of the top 3 unofficial predictions of the anti-covid-vaccine crowd.

So when news articles begin showing evidence, folks with low trust in official sources connect the dots they are told do not exist and should not even bother discussing... As you would expect

See also: 5G, floride in water, preconditioning via mass media etc...

I've had multiple friends die of cancer who are under 40. Our environment is so full of weird petrochemicals and food made of nothing. We were the first young round of The Pepsi Generation. What was happening to us is the reason there's been so much change since the late 90s early 2000s. Parents saw it. GenX Elder millennials are going to die of a lot of cancers. It's going to go slightly down for GenZ because of widespread food choice changes.... but not everyone made those. Rich people made those, mostly. So yeah, that is happening for sure.

This sounds like the new "disease" of "sudden adult death syndrome". [1]

One cause that's explicitly unmentioned is the mass rollout of experimental mRNA shots.

My money is on microplastics.

And endocrine disrupting petrochemicals. Like the scents in cleaning products. Also PFAS being in the water.... and then also microplastics. It's pretty cool that they put tiny plastic marbles in fuckin soap. And low nutrient diets, especially in childhood.

I would be willing this is linked to processed foods and modified starches in particular.
