Its shocking to see more evidence that Civilization still deals with native peoples the way it always has.

I guess its naive of me, but i thought that was a relic of the past.

    It may be a case of "no true scotman", but in my opinion, given that we are in 2022 and not 1522, any society doing this kind of thing does not deserve to be called "civilized", and it should be a shame to consider them an ally and business partner.

I get forcibly relocating people but death? It doesn’t even sound like they did anything besides refuse to move.

    The Saudi Arabian legal system is based on arbitrary and extreme punishments by judges with near absolute power. This is a nation that chops the heads off of teenagers for sorcery and then mutilates and crucifies the corpses in public as a warning.
