I don't think I would recommend React anymore

Kinda on the same sentiment. I can use hooks very well but I'm arsed trying to understand the internals on each semver major, let alone having to explain it to new developers. Lots of magic underneath.

SolidJS is promising but it has custom syntax too that requires babel parsing, i still cant just use esbuild to bundle it.
