Ask HN: Best Resources to Learn Scala
I’m a data engineer in my current place and most of our pipelines and code we write is in python. The backend team writes must of their services in Scala.
Sometimes, we need to debug stuff that cross-references the backend services and It’ll be a plus to have knowledge of scales for a better understanding of what’s going on.

https://youtube.com/c/DevInsideYou I took the Functional Programming Principles in Scala class on Coursera and it was excellent! It's taught by Martin Odersky who is the creator of the language, and had lots of very effective short exercises which let you apply the concepts he teaches in the class.
