NPM Registry is currently experiencing an outage

Unrelated to the outage, it's interesting that a company owned by GitHub/Microsoft uses Atlassian to host its status page.

Is there a way to have multiple mirrors for releases? much like APT would have in sources.list

Pretty annoying :/
