Discord for Remote Work

I’m a big believer in discord as being the eventual champion of this audio/video chat market. It’s interesting that Slack was cordoned off for “a single source of truth for text exchanges” - that makes me wonder what gmail is doing. The slack argument that was used in the past is that it was for more informal conversations. I know the older generation at work is having trouble with the divide between emails and teams. Throwing another communication tool at them wouldn’t help in our case. Are there discord integrations for slack? Is the screen sharing up to par with other apps?
