OpenAI has trained a neural network to competently play Minecraft

I love this kind of AI (NVIDIA has a similar one for other games). The kind that basically gets a little bit of training on "these buttons do these things in these situations", then just literally watches other people play the game and learns strategies from. It's more or less exactly how humans learn to play a game, so I find it quite cool when we can get an AI to do the same.
